As with the rest of this range, the Pond’s Gold Radiance Youthful Glow Day Cream contains real gold micro-particles, which helps to improve any dullness to your skin tone, by improving your skin’s luminosity.
The bottle (packaging) looks really impressive in a metallic gold, and the pump action prevents that nasty cross contamination that so easily happens with jars, where our fingers come into contact with all of the product (including the remaining product that stays behind in the jar).
What I really like about this moisturiser, is that it offers protection against both UVA (aging) and UVB (burning). A lot of other products with an SPF only protect against UVB (so that you do not ‘burn’), but leave you vulnerable to those nasty aging UVA rays…
This day cream is also non pore-clogging, and I found it to be quite “light” on my skin. It is quickly absorbed, leaving your skin with a matte finish (no oily-ness).
The Pond’s Gold Radiance range can be found at department stores and pharmacies like Clicks or Dischem and the 50ml Day Cream retails for around R190-00.
Final Thoughts: The only negative I would mention about this moisturiser, is that it would probably be too ‘light’ for someone with a drier skin than mine. I found it to be just perfect for my combination skin, but someone with a dry skin would need something a little more nourishing in my opinion.
