Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum – Product Review

The look of this serum is the most impressive of this Pond’s Gold Radiance range.

You can literally see the little flakes of the real gold micro-particles in the clear serum. And after applying it, you can still see just a very slight hint of its shimmer on your skin.

It comes in a clear container with a dropper, so that you can precisely control the amount of product that you take out to use.

But I have to mention one negative of this packaging…

Because the opening where you take out and put the dropper back into the bottle, is very narrow, you have to be very careful when putting the dropper back. If you are not, you could easily ‘push off’ some of the product that is  sitting on the outside of the dropper, which then ends up on the outside of the rim of the container 😦 And you really don’t want to be wasting any of this precious serum in that way!

When you apply the serum, it is very quickly absorbed right into the skin, leaving a satin like silky-ness on the skin (not sticky at all).

It is also enriched with Vitamin B3 which is known to reduce age spots.

For best results, apply this serum morning and evening after washing with Ponds Gold Radiance Revealed Facial Foam and before you apply your Ponds Gold Radiance Youth reviving Eye Cream.

The Ponds Gold Radiance range can be found at department stores and pharmacies like Clicks or Dischem and the 30ml serum retails for around R215-00.

Final Thoughts: I have only been using this range for about 3 weeks, but I definitely feel that I can see an improvement in the radiance and luminosity of my skin! And I think this serum is propably the biggest contributor to this positive result 🙂
