Despicable Me Minions Nail Art

Despicable Me 2 is currently screening in South Africa, and sadly I have NOT YET been to see it.. But I SO had to try my hand at some super cute Minions on my nails!! And I was very impressed with how they turned out – even if I have to say so myself.. 😉

Minnions5

I started of with my clear base coat, and then 3 coats of Bright Yellow from Top Shine.

I then used 915 George Blueney by Catrice Cosmetics to dress them in their little dungarees..

Minnions2

Next I added some detail to the dungarees and dotted on the ‘base’ for their goggles using 760 Rock the Metal – Rimmel London 60 seconds.

And then I added some more details to the eyes and goggles using Tip Top Nailchic – Cream Puff and Tip Top Nailchic – Black Forest

Minnions4

I also got the brilliant idea to use some individual falsies to give my 2 ‘main characters’ some hair..

Minions6

Don’t they just look adorable!! Let me know what you think? And if you’ve tried your own Minion Nail Art?
