Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe – Product Review

This week I’ll be looking at the Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe lotion – from the new Vaseline® Intensive CareTM range of body lotions and creams:

Vaseline_AloeSmoothe_Lotion

This lotion was developed by Vaseline to not only deeply moisturise – with the specially designed blend of glycerine (to pull moisture into all layers of skin), and Vaseline® Petroleum Jelly (to lock moisture in) – but to also restore and soothe dry skin.

It specifically contains Aloe, which is an effective skin conditioning agent known to help soothe and hydrate skin.

Again, it comes in the same flip top container as the other lotions in this range, and the container is a light green colour.

The lotion itself has no colour, but it has a light fragrance that could resemble freshly cut aloe,  but also reminds me of the fresh/sweet smell of cucumber.

The lotion’s consistency is light, absorbs quickly and feels refreshing and almost cooling on your skin.

Out of the range, the Aloe Soothe lotion is ideal for women that enjoy a light sensory lotion.

The Vaseline® Intensive CareTM range can be found at pharmacies like Clicks or Dischem or department stores like Pick n Pay or Checkers and the 200ml Aloe Soothe Lotion retails for around R22-99, or the 400ml for around R35-99.

Final Thoughts: I would reserve this lotion out of this range for those days that I’ve stayed in the sun for just a tad too long.. to help soothe that pesky sunburn sensitivity!
